Montenegro national team won Silver Olympic medal after thrilling match against Norway. Final match ended with 26:23 in favour of Norway, although Montenegro was very close during entire game.

Key player of the Montenegro team was brilliant goalkeeper Sonja Barjaktarović who had 17 saves against World, European and Olympic Champions.
